2013 Highlights

The last few years have been a whirlwind. Getting Married, graduating, moving, new jobs, etc. etc. This past year was no different. There were definitely ups and downs, but the ups were much bigger than the downs, and I think that's all anyone can ever hope for. Now for the 2013 Highlight Reel....

In January I went skiing for the first time. I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed it. 

In February I turned 23....I'm still not sure how I feel about that, but 24 is coming soon. yikes. 

In March we went on vacation to Hawaii. It was the first time for both of us, and we were happy to cross that off our bucket list together.

In June we celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary and bought a new (ish) car, with AC and everything!

In July I started a new job, and we spent the 4th in Sunny San Diego, and then moved out of our one bedroom apartment into a little townhome. I've never been so thankful for a garage!  

In August baby Alec came and spent a week with us. And I cried for days after he left. 

In the fall we spent lots of time visiting farmers markets and enjoying the fall colors.

In November Brian turned 28, we met up with my family in Vegas for a weekend, and then had a quiet Thanksgiving for 2 to kick off the holiday season. 

In December we did Christmas-y things in Utah...Then visited both families- first, in Tennessee and then California. And tonight, we will ring in the new year by snuggling up with some movies...and I probably won't make it till midnight ;)
